1. Logitech Calcined Aluminium Oxide powders are produced using a unique process.  This process grades particles, in sizes and shape, much closer than normal means.  Making it highly effective on hard materials such as ceramics, silicon and hardened steel. The particles produced by the process are flat and tend to lie parallel to the processed surface.  Working pressure is more evenly spread, reducing particle breakdown and retaining the abrasive for a longer period. Logitech Calcined Aluminium Oxide offers many advantages such as:

• Increased particle size delivers a quicker process time, higher levels of output and better surface quality.

2. Logitech Boron Carbide lapping powder is a hard abrasive.  Harder than slicon carbide, yet less expensive than diamond. Boron Carbide is used for the processing of ceramics, sapphire, heat treated alloys and very hard minerals.

Polycrystalline particles break down more readily than monocrystalline particles, resulting in more crystal facets being revealed. This, in turn, produces a faster polishing process due to the sharper edges.
